Robin Hood - Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th August - Alnwick Castle

Prepare for a riotous summer adventure fit for all the family, as The Fools present battle to tell their own version of the legendary tale of Robin Hood. Expect fast-paced drama, plenty of musical instruments and many a quick costume change along the way!

Event Information

  • Please read the additional information for the evening that will be made available by clicking here on June 26th.
  • Gates will open at 6pm, with the performance starting at 7pm.
  • This is an outside performance so please come prepared. You may want to check the weather forecast before setting off.
  • You are welcome to bring low-backed chairs, cushions and rugs to sit on. No seating will be provided.
  • Coats and warm clothing is recommended as it can become cold as the sun begins to set. Please do not bring umbrellas as they can block the view for others.
  • Picnics are welcome however we have a strict no glass policy and we ask that you do not bring alcohol onto the premises. Catering arrangement will be announced closer to the events.
  • The performance will continue in all but the most extreme weather conditions (such as heavy rain, strong winds or thunderstorms). We want people to enjoy the outdoors and the stunning backdrop we provide, therefore every effort will be made to keep the performance on.
  • If the weather conditions deteriorate during the performance to a point of causing a risk to audience and/or performers safety, the venue and performance company may decide to cancel the remainder of the performance.
  • Please note that bag searches may take place for the benefit and security of visitors and staff. Your kind co-operation is much appreciated.

Covid Secure Information
  • We have covid secure measures in place at the Castle.
  • In accordance with Government COVID 19 guidance, we will be taking contact details from all visitors, over the age of 16, for 21 days after the event and, if asked, we will provide them to NHS Test and Trace. Please be assured that your information will be stored securely, in line with data protection laws, and will not be shared with anyone else.
  • Staff will be on hand to help with social distancing and ensure the performance can be enjoyed safely.

Terms & Conditions
  1. Once purchased, please check the details of your ticket(s) carefully.
  2. You must produce a valid ticket for this event to be permitted entry to the venue (printed or on a mobile device)
  3. Audio, video or photographic recordings are not permitted at any time during the performance.
  4. You should always check that the event is going ahead at the time and date your purchased the ticket for. The decision to change or cancel the event is the responsibility of Alnwick Castle. If we make a significant change to the show time, Alnwick Castle will try to inform you via email. In urgent cases it may be by phone.
  5. We will not refund any travel costs associated with a cancellations.
  6. Once purchased, tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded other than for the circumstances set out below:
    1. If we fail to fulfil an order as a result of any negligence, or similar act or omission of our own or in breach of contract the customer will be entitled to a full refund of the ticket.
    2. If the event is cancelled, postponed or changes are made to the event.
  7. No refunds will be given for the following:
    1. If your ticket is lost or stolen.
    2. If you decide to leave the performance once it has started.
    3. If you fail to comply with these terms and conditions.
  8. If these terms are not complied with, we reserve the right to refuse entry or eject you from the venue.
  9. We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Modifications shall be effective immediately.
