12 month tickets
- Tickets to Alnwick Castle can be validated for 12 months from date of visit, and give unlimited visits to Alnwick Castle during opening times only (view opening times).
- Tickets to Alnwick Castle must be validated as 12 month tickets in visitor admissions on the date of first visit.
- To validate the ticket, the ticketholder must provide a valid name and address, and a photograph of each ticketholder (excluding children) will be taken for future re-entry to the castle.
- Tickets to Alnwick Castle do not give access to The Alnwick Garden.
- Valid 12 month ticket must be shown in visitor admissions at each re-visit.
- 12 month tickets are not transferrable.
- 12 month tickets to Alnwick Castle are not valid for separately ticketed events at Alnwick Castle (e.g. Burns Night celebrations or booked Christmas parties).
- If you lose your 12 month ticket, please call 01665 511 184 and we will arrange a replacement where possible.
HM Forces discount
Members of HM Forces are entitled to a 15% discount on full price adult, child, concession and family tickets to Alnwick Castle only. This discount is not to be used in conjunction with any other offer and is available in visitor admissions only, please show valid ID when purchasing your tickets. Tickets purchased with this discount can be validated for unlimited free visits during opening hours for 12 months from date of purchase, please ask at visitor admissions on the date of your visit.
Bag searches in place
Visitors are welcome to bring bags to Alnwick Castle. Visitors are respectfully informed that enhanced security measures are in place and you are requested to bring the minimum of bags during your visit. A baggage deposit zone is located on site. Please note that random bag searches may take place. Your kind cooperation with these procedures, which have been implemented for the benefit and security of visitors and staff alike, is much appreciated.
Please note that photography is not permitted within the State Rooms without prior arrangement. However, photography of the exterior of Alnwick Castle is encouraged for all visitors,

If we make any changes to this Agreement, your use of the Site any its Content following the date of that change will be governed by the changed Agreement.
Territory and Laws
The Site is provided from England for access and use by people both there and elsewhere. If you visit the Site from outside England, you are, in effect, visiting the territory of England. Accordingly, you acknowledge that the laws of England apply to your use of the Content and govern this Agreement, and that Alnwick Castle takes no responsibility to ensure the conformance of the Content or the Site to your country's laws.
Effect of Agreement
Alnwick Castle intends to rely upon the written terms set out here. If you require any changes, please make sure you ask for these to be put in writing. In that way, we can avoid any problems surrounding what Alnwick Castle and you the Customer is expected to do.
Unused goods in a saleable condition can be returned with the original receipt up to 28 days after purchase for a refund or exchange (exchange only without a valid receipt).
