We are delighted to welcome the acclaimed historian and author Tracy Borman to Alnwick Castle on Saturday 19th August to speak about her new book Anne Boleyn and Elizabeth I: The Mother and Daughter Who Changed History.

The book uses evidence from original documents and artefacts to reveal new depths to the relationship between Anne Boleyn and her daughter, showing Anne’s influence on Elizabeth’s character, beliefs and her reign as Queen – one of the most important reigns in British history. We hope you’ll be able to join us for a fascinating evening all about these remarkable Tudor women.

Tracy Borman is joint Chief Curator of Historic Royal Palaces and Chief Executive of the Heritage Education Trust. As well as Anne Boleyn and Elizabeth I, her books include Crown and Sceptre and The Private Lives of the Tudors.
